Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Crosby FC's Ahmed Hedrick started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Ahmed Hedrick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boyd Strange kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Bennington defense, Dan Platt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ross Aragon. The Bennington fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ross Aragon should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dan Platt in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ross Aragon saved Bennington from getting behind. Boyd Strange kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Marco Messer struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Ross Aragon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crosby FC. Dan Platt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ross Aragon having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Aidan Pritchard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ross Aragon. Bennington's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aidan Pritchard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Ahmed Hedrick struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. In the 30th minute, one of Crosby FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Crosby FC. When the match had been going on for 32 minutes, Bennington's Devin Lawrence got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jarod Pennington. Ahmed Hedrick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ross Aragon having to interfere. Ross Aragon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmed Hedrick, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Eliseo Bermudez hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Bennington's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Marco Messer scored to the left of an out of position Ross Aragon, making the score, 2-3. After a defensive mix-up in Bennington's zone, David Hand stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ross Aragon came out of the goal and David Hand tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ahmed Hedrick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ross Aragon having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clark Burrows during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jarod Pennington showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boyd Strange in the 82nd minute of the match. The supporters of Bennington booed when Crosby FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Messer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute, Devin Lawrence got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giovanni Bingham in the 87th minute of play forced Crosby FC's goalkeeper Jarod Pennington to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmed Hedrick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aidan Pritchard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Ross Aragon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Aidan Pritchard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Crosby FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
