The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Arturo Hastings shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Winston Ladner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teddy Sharp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Winston Ladner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgardo Bowser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgardo Bowser in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Darell Bravo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Darell Bravo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doug Haley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Hastings in the 22nd minute of play forced livermore sc's goalkeeper Winston Ladner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute Edgardo Bowser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darell Bravo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to livermore sc getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Eliseo Mattson hit a great ball. After 32 minutes of play, livermore sc's Edgardo Bowser made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Darell Bravo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 34 minutes into the game, Leon Warren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. livermore sc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cockeysville the free kick. After 34 played minutes livermore sc got a freekick which was hit by Leon Warren. Darell Bravo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Bowser, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Bowser in the 39th minute of play forced Cockeysville's goalkeeper Darell Bravo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the game, Doug Haley cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Darell Bravo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half livermore sc were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgardo Bowser was the one to do the kick off. Leon Warren kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 56th match minute, Cockeysville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascal Novak to maneuver through the defense. When Arturo Hastings came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Cockeysville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arturo Hastings couldn't finish the play. Darell Bravo made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Doug Haley sent off a good shot on target. Teddy Sharp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Cockeysville's Darell Bravo got control of the ball when Ernie Braswell tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, livermore sc's Edgardo Bowser got a free kick in the 71st minute. Teddy Sharp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Darell Bravo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Bowser in the 78th minute of play. A collision led to Cockeysville getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Pascal Novak hit a great ball. After having played for 84 minutes, Doug Haley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. livermore sc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Doug Haley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, livermore sc's Edgardo Bowser got a free kick in the 90th minute. Arturo Hastings sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mitchell Santiago hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match.
