After a defensive mix-up in Manhasset Hills FC's zone, D.J. Youngblood stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waylon Holmes came out of the goal and D.J. Youngblood tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If D.J. The audience was convinced that D.J. Youngblood's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Waylon Holmes was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. When Arnoldo Worthington fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manhasset Hills FC's protests and gave Arnoldo Worthington a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pontiac booed when Manhasset Hills FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Worthington didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dwayne Vaughn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronny Ingram in the 36th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Shane Krause made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Vincenzo Landreth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Waylon Holmes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from D.J. Youngblood in the 53rd minute of play. Boyd Ochoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Waylon Holmes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. D.J. Emilio Roth went to the cornerflag to take it. Pontiac walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
