Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gerardo Darnell kicked off to start the match. Reuben Hendrickson charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reuben Hendrickson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 5 played minutes Manhasset Hills FC got a freekick which was hit by Reuben Hendrickson. If Gerardo Darnell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ian Tang came free with the goalkeeper in the 12th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Waylon Holmes could save by the left post. After 21 minutes, Ian Tang made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Manhasset Hills FC's Waylon Holmes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Manhasset Hills FC's zone, Ian Tang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waylon Holmes came out of the goal and Ian Tang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Waylon Holmes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Darnell in the 27th minute of play. After 29 minutes of play, Raça Rubro Negra's Ian Tang made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Waylon Holmes was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Raça Rubro Negra getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Renaldo Sheffield hit a great ball. Shane Krause fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raphael Leonard having to interfere. Raphael Leonard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Shane Krause recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ian Tang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waylon Holmes having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Shane Krause made a kick off. If Von Wilkinson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 57 minutes, Reginald Matson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Raça Rubro Negra and the Manhasset Hills FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Manhasset Hills FC booed when Raça Rubro Negra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reginald Matson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emilio Roth, 60 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, Manhasset Hills FC's Vincenzo Landreth got a free kick in the 64th minute. Waylon Holmes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alistair Wolff in the 82nd minute of play. Vincenzo Landreth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raphael Leonard having to interfere. When Ian Tang came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Raça Rubro Negra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ian Tang couldn't finish the play. Manhasset Hills FC's Shane Krause got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Raça Rubro Negra had won after a very even match.
