Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Doug Haley took the kick off in the first half of the match. Osvaldo Schaefer hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Eliseo Mattson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Benjamin Reilly tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliseo Mattson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benjamin Reilly came out and tried to block the shot, but Eliseo Mattson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 8th minute. 11 minutes into the match, livermore sc's goal looked a bit too open when Ace Acevedo came free, but Winston Ladner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ace Acevedo in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Winston Ladner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Juan McGowan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Winston Ladner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norman Kern in the 32nd minute of the match. If Osvaldo Schaefer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute Ace Acevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Winston Ladner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ace Acevedo in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Winston Ladner saved livermore sc from getting behind. After 40 minutes, Eliseo Mattson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the livermore sc and the ALIANZA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of ALIANZA FC booed when livermore sc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Mattson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in ALIANZA FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! The referee gave livermore sc a penalty, 48 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Kelly Emerson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ALIANZA FC's Benjamin Reilly. 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

In the 53rd match minute, ALIANZA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Schaefer to maneuver through the defense. Benjamin Reilly made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kelly Emerson in the 54th minute of play. ALIANZA FC's Ace Acevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Winston Ladner was a little too slow when Norman Kern got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 2-2. After 61 minutes of play livermore sc's Eliseo Mattson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The crowd rose to their feet as ALIANZA FC's Giuseppe Moon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Winston Ladner. That made the score 2-3 after 67 minutes of play. Leon Warren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Reilly having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramon Gale in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benjamin Reilly saved ALIANZA FC from getting behind. Winston Ladner made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Norman Kern sent off a good shot on target. After 75 played minutes livermore sc got a freekick which was hit by Leon Warren. After a rather tough play, livermore sc's Doug Haley got a free kick in the 77th minute. Norman Kern could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Winston Ladner made a huge save. Ace Acevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Winston Ladner having to interfere. Benjamin Reilly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Gale, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Winston Ladner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 88 minutes into the match, livermore sc's goalkeeper Winston Ladner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giuseppe Moon. After a defensive mix-up in livermore sc's zone, Ace Acevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Winston Ladner came out of the goal and Ace Acevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ace Acevedos short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Winston Ladner to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lance Bautista got free with Winston Ladner in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
