After a defensive mix-up in Cockeysville's zone, Ronny Ingram stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Darell Bravo came out of the goal and Ronny Ingram tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teddy Sharp in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Waylon Holmes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 14 minutes into the match, Cockeysville's goal looked a bit too open when Ronny Ingram came free, but Darell Bravo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Manhasset Hills FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Hastings came free, but Waylon Holmes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Darell Bravo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shane Krause in the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Rolando Busch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Shane Krause might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Darell Bravo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Shane Krause ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 23rd minute Teddy Sharp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waylon Holmes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waylon Holmes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teddy Sharp went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Teddy Sharp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waylon Holmes having to interfere. Arturo Hastings received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Waylon Holmes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Teddy Sharp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waylon Holmes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Hastings, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arturo Hastings made a kick off. Arturo Hastings's late challenge caught a Manhasset Hills FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arturo Hastings helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th minute, Arturo Hastings hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Manhasset Hills FC's goalkeeper Waylon Holmes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Teddy Sharp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Shane Krause came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Manhasset Hills FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shane Krause couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Arturo Hastings took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Waylon Holmes to make any attempt to save it. In the 70th play minute Teddy Sharp came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Waylon Holmes. 1-3. Teddy Sharp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Waylon Holmes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Rolando Busch kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Teddy Sharp's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Waylon Holmes firmly grabbed it by the left post. Waylon Holmes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arturo Hastings went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Teddy Sharp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waylon Holmes having to interfere. Waylon Holmes made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Teddy Sharp sent off a good shot on target. Waylon Holmes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Hastings in the 95th minute of play. Teddy Sharp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Waylon Holmes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
