In the 15th match minute, Boston Terrier FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenneth Pepper to maneuver through the defense. Mickey Goldman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wyatt Carrington in the 18th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Tony Uribe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mickey Goldman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yonkers's goalkeeper Dylan Pryor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 42ndth minute of the game Colby Solis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yonkers's Dylan Pryor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 43 minutes, Aurelio Chadwick managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boston Terrier FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurelio Chadwick was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 45th minute by Frankie Gaines got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Colby Solis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dylan Pryor having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Gregory Crowe got free with Mickey Goldman in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Yonkers's Marc Ferris slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mickey Goldman. That made the score 1-2 after 53 minutes of play. When Gregory Crowe fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yonkers's protests and gave Gregory Crowe a yellow card for diving instead. Dylan Pryor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wyatt Carrington kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 95th match minute, Yonkers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Uribe to maneuver through the defense. Boston Terrier FC were awarded a corner in the 98th minute after Yonkers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Colby Solis took the corner. Boston Terrier FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
