Spectators: 7709 (Terracing: 5783, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 153) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Forrest Heath got the match started through his kick off. Forrest Heath received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Bill Spears tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. High Point AFC were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after BLUFOR's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dallas Abraham took the corner. The corner led High Point AFC's Dallas Abraham to fire away a dangerous shot which Tad Prince despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diego Merritt in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tad Prince saved BLUFOR from getting behind. 13 minutes into the game, Deshawn Lujan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BLUFOR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave High Point AFC the free kick. In the 15th match minute, BLUFOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Morgan Barth to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, High Point AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Nathanial Barnhart came free, but Bill Spears reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22ndth minute of the game Diego Merritt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BLUFOR's Tad Prince was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Nathanial Barnhart came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the BLUFOR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nathanial Barnhart couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulysses Clifford during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ulysses Clifford kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, BLUFOR's Allen Arden broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Forrest Heath in the 32nd minute of play forced High Point AFC's goalkeeper Bill Spears to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, BLUFOR's Nathanial Barnhart sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bill Spears narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 37 minutes, Nathanial Barnhart managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BLUFOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nathanial Barnhart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bill Spears showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Forrest Heath, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Forrest Heath received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Bill Spears tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Ulysses Clifford hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute of the match Allen Arden sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bill Spears skillfully saved the ball. Bill Spears took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Forrest Heath, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Forrest Heath might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bill Spears. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Forrest Heath ran back to his position shaking his head. Nathanial Barnhart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bill Spears having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Milan Kimball hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Forrest Heath got free in front of the goal in the 58th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Bill Spears was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Nathanial Barnhart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bill Spears made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Forrest Heath in the 61st minute of play. BLUFOR's Allen Arden was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bill Spears in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Tad Prince showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milan Kimball, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. BLUFOR's Allen Arden couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 67th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for High Point AFC. Nathanial Barnhart could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Bill Spears made a huge save. Diego Merritt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tad Prince having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, BLUFOR's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremy Reeves came free, but Tad Prince reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 82 minutes, Morgan Barth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BLUFOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Morgan Barth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 83rd match minute, High Point AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dallas Abraham to maneuver through the defense. Tad Prince showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremy Reeves, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Jeremy Reeves managed to get in a good position for a shot. High Point AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremy Reeves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tad Prince breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in High Point AFC's zone, Nathanial Barnhart stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bill Spears came out of the goal and Nathanial Barnhart tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 96 minutes into the match, High Point AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Forrest Heath came free, but Bill Spears reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded BLUFOR left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than High Point AFC.
