Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Terry Jacobsen started the match with the kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in Woodlands FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! Renato Irwin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Erik Bagley made a huge save. 12 minutes into the game, Clayton Gardner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Canal Fulton FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Woodlands FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Canal Fulton FC's Clayton Gardner got a free kick in the 12th minute. Clayton Gardner got his second yellow card in the match during the 14th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Clayton Gardner kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Woodlands FC's Erik Bagley threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Patrick Lay, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Terry Jacobsen came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Woodlands FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Terry Jacobsen couldn't finish the play. Erik Bagley didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Renato Irwin went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 27 minutes into the match, Woodlands FC's Renato Irwin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erik Bagley narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Erik Bagley was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Terry Jacobsen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 28 minute of play. Erik Bagley made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Renato Irwin sent off a good shot on target. Renato Irwin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Bagley having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Woodlands FC's Terry Jacobsen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Erik Bagley. That made the score 3-0 after 37 minutes of play. In the 41st minute Terry Jacobsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Bagley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Terry Jacobsen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erik Bagley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terry Jacobsen in the 49th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rudolf Suarez to strike the kick off in the second half. Erik Bagley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terry Jacobsen in the 54th minute of the match. Erik Bagley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 60 minutes in the game, Renato Irwin dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 64th minute, Terry Jacobsen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erik Bagley was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Terry Jacobsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Erik Bagley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patrick Lay hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. When Gary Hopper came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Canal Fulton FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gary Hopper couldn't finish the play. When Dustin Vela came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Canal Fulton FC fans jumped to their feet. When the referee ended the match the Woodlands FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
