Spectators: 7690 (Terracing: 5768, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Norman Bergman started the match with the kick off. After 6th play minutes Norman Bergman shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Tad Prince and just under the crossbar into goal. Forrest Heath charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Forrest Heath the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th minute, Forrest Heath hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. BLUFOR's Tad Prince played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norman Bergman in the 16th minute of play. Johnathon Gallo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Forrest Heath, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Mankato booed when BLUFOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gordon Ezell didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Mankato's goalkeeper Johnathon Gallo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Morgan Barth. Tad Prince stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Norman Bergman's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. After having played for 35 minutes, Nathanial Barnhart managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BLUFOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nathanial Barnhart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Mankato's Monty McBride got a free kick in the 36th minute. If Dexter Jeffers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42ndth minute of the game Norman Bergman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BLUFOR's Tad Prince was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Forrest Heath to make the kick off. In the 56th minute Forrest Heath shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnathon Gallo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jarrod Langston hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Johnathon Gallo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nathanial Barnhart, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Tad Prince made an important save on a dangerous shot by Norman Bergman in the 62nd minute. BLUFOR's Tad Prince proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save BLUFOR from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Norman Bergman got free with Tad Prince in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Norman Bergman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Tad Prince skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Norman Bergman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Tad Prince when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Norman Bergman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Tad Prince skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of BLUFOR booed when Mankato was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Monty McBride didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute, Nathanial Barnhart ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Johnathon Gallo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Tad Prince showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dexter Jeffers in the 87th minute of the match. Mankato were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after BLUFOR's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dexter Jeffers took the corner. Zack Gonzalez was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Mankato's Rich Latham was substituted for Jarrod Langston. After 94 played minutes BLUFOR got a freekick which was hit by Gordon Ezell. The long shot by Rich Latham in the 94th minute really tested Tad Prince's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Tad Prince made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Norman Bergman sent off a good shot on target. The Mankato players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented BLUFOR from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
