Yonkers's Dylan Pryor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Herbert in the 12th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Dustin Vela was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Canal Fulton FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yonkers the free kick. After 16 played minutes Canal Fulton FC got a freekick which was hit by Dustin Vela. Yonkers's Dylan Pryor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudolf Suarez in the 20th minute of play. Reynaldo Herbert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dylan Pryor having to interfere. If Rudolf Suarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 32 minutes, Rudolf Suarez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canal Fulton FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rudolf Suarez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Gregory Crowe could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Erik Bagley however easily saved by the left post. Yonkers's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marlin Barrera in the 37th minute. A nice corner shot did that Marlin Barrera got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Erik Bagley quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Reynaldo Herbert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reynaldo Herbert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Reynaldo Herbert stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregory Crowe in the 60th minute of play forced Canal Fulton FC's goalkeeper Erik Bagley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65thth minute of the game Reynaldo Herbert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yonkers's Dylan Pryor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dylan Pryor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Herbert, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 76 minutes into the match, Yonkers's goalkeeper Dylan Pryor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rudolf Suarez. With a little luck, Yonkers's Dylan Pryor got control of the ball when Rudolf Suarez tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Yonkers supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Canal Fulton FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Canal Fulton FC.
