The supporters of Atherton FC booed when BLUFOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. After a defensive mix-up in Atherton FC's zone, Nathanial Barnhart stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Colby Comer came out of the goal and Nathanial Barnhart tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Forrest Heath made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Forrest Heath managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BLUFOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Forrest Heath was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Atherton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Forrest Heath came free, but Colby Comer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Atherton FC's goalkeeper Colby Comer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Forrest Heath's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Colby Comer was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. 66 minutes into the match, Atherton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nathanial Barnhart came free, but Colby Comer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
