Spectators: 7728 (Terracing: 5797, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 154) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marc Ferris took the kick off in the first half of the match. Atherton FC's Anthony McAlpin got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dylan Pryor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthony McAlpin in the 7th minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, Marc Ferris recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Colby Comer. Marc Ferris showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Yonkers's Dylan Pryor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthony McAlpin in the 14th minute of play. Colby Comer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marc Ferris, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Vito Boone hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the match, Yonkers's Marlin Barrera broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Gregory Crowe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Colby Comer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Atherton FC's zone, Gregory Crowe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Colby Comer came out of the goal and Gregory Crowe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 28 minutes into the match, Atherton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marc Ferris came free, but Colby Comer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute, Gregory Crowe made a precise shot to the right of Colby Comer. Atherton FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 35 minutes into the match, Atherton FC's goalkeeper Colby Comer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gregory Crowe. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anthony McAlpin was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Gregory Crowe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yonkers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregory Crowe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th minute, Jim Hadley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gregory Crowe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Colby Comer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marc Ferris went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Atherton FC's Colby Comer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marc Ferris in the 67th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Marc Ferris cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Colby Comer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gregory Crowe struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Colby Comer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yonkers. Kurtis Muller charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kurtis Muller the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 78th minute of the game. One of Atherton FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Yonkers:s goal. Atherton FC:s Colby Comer showed great skill when he stopped Marlin Barrera:s penalty. Vito Boone kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Gregory Crowe took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Colby Comer. Colby Comer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. If Marc Ferris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Atherton FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Cobi Key hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anthony McAlpin in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dylan Pryor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yonkers were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Atherton FC for a fine match.
