Spectators: 7738 (Terracing: 5805, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 154) Charles City's Bailey Wooten started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tad Prince showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bailey Wooten in the 5th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Bailey Wooten notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of BLUFOR's Tad Prince. Tad Prince was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Bailey Wooten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harry Benton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tad Prince having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, BLUFOR's goal looked a bit too open when Bailey Wooten came free, but Tad Prince reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charles City's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Olin Zimmer in the 18th minute. Tad Prince showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harry Benton, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 23rd minute, Morgan Barth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Harry Benton came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Charles City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harry Benton couldn't finish the play. In the 28th minute, Bailey Wooten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 30th minute Harry Benton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tad Prince saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute, Harry Benton made a precise shot to the right of Tad Prince. BLUFOR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After some careless play in the BLUFOR defense, Bailey Wooten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tad Prince. The BLUFOR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tad Prince should have stopped the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Forrest Heath stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Harry Benton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gordon Ezell hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Charles City's Bailey Wooten slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tad Prince. That made the score 0-4 after 59 minutes of play. Richie Keys showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nathanial Barnhart, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. A collision led to BLUFOR getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Morgan Barth hit a great ball. Gordon Ezell charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gordon Ezell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, BLUFOR's Gordon Ezell got a free kick in the 70th minute. Tad Prince was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Olin Zimmer. Forrest Heath sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Harry Benton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Harry Benton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Tad Prince made a huge save. Bailey Wooten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tad Prince having to interfere. The BLUFOR fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Charles City were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
