Ollie Huntley ran back to his position shaking his head. 22 minutes into the match, Elkhorn's goal looked a bit too open when Forrest Heath came free, but Dirk Dubois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gordon Ezell hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Tad Prince made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Andy Kimble sent off a good shot on target. When Shelby Nava fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BLUFOR's protests and gave Shelby Nava a yellow card for diving instead. After 37 played minutes BLUFOR got a freekick which was hit by Shelby Nava. Logan Stockton shot from long distance in the 38th minute, but Tad Prince was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. With a little luck, BLUFOR's Tad Prince got control of the ball when Andy Kimble tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Forrest Heath managed to get in a good position for a shot. BLUFOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Forrest Heath was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dirk Dubois breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jeffrey Barnes kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Forrest Heath was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Forrest Heath dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dirk Dubois, 1-1. BLUFOR's Tad Prince played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ollie Huntley in the 56th minute of play. Nathanial Barnhart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dirk Dubois having to interfere. Forrest Heath might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dirk Dubois. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Forrest Heath ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andy Kimble in the 64th minute of play forced BLUFOR's goalkeeper Tad Prince to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tad Prince came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Elkhorn's Ollie Huntley. But to his dismay, Ollie Huntley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Gordon Ezell hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Elkhorn were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after BLUFOR's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Logan Stockton took the corner. The corner led Elkhorn's Logan Stockton to fire away a dangerous shot which Tad Prince despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Nathanial Barnhart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
