Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bailey Wooten started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Bailey Wooten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Richie Keys took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristopher Castillo De Reyes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Charles City's Harry Benton fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Harry Benton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bailey Wooten in the 12th minute of play forced Atherton FC's goalkeeper Colby Comer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the game, Harry Benton recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Colby Comer. Harry Benton showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Colby Comer made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Harry Benton sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Bailey Wooten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Colby Comer was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bailey Wooten in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Colby Comer saved Atherton FC from getting behind. Harry Benton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Colby Comer having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Atherton FC's zone, Bailey Wooten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Colby Comer came out of the goal and Bailey Wooten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jim Hadley kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Colby Comer came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Charles City's Harry Benton. But to his dismay, Harry Benton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Harry Benton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Harry Benton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Charles City booed when Atherton FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerome Thomason didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 47 played minutes Atherton FC got a freekick which was hit by Jim Hadley. Colby Comer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bailey Wooten in the 48th minute of the match.
The wind increased when Kristopher Castillo De Reyes made the kick off in the second half. Harry Benton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Charles City getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Rusty Hadley hit a great ball. In the 58th minute, Harry Benton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Charles City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 65th minute Jerome Thomason clashed with another player. He fell to the ground and was in great pain. It was obvious that he couldn't finish the game. Rusty Hadley's late challenge caught a Atherton FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rusty Hadley helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Charles City getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Rusty Hadley hit a great ball. After 68 played minutes Charles City got a freekick which was hit by Rusty Hadley. Atherton FC's Cobi Key couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 68th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Charles City. Colby Comer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bailey Wooten, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Bailey Wooten notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Atherton FC's Colby Comer. Colby Comer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bailey Wooten in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Colby Comer saved Atherton FC from getting behind. When Charles City's Harry Benton in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atherton FC's goalie prevented a goal. Colby Comer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blake Burger in the 83rd minute of play. Colby Comer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bailey Wooten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Charles City's Richie Keys proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Charles City from getting a goal against them. If Harry Benton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charles City walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
