Spectators: 7580 (Terracing: 5800, Seating: 1778, VIP seats: 2) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Walter Mixon made the kick off which started today's match. Enrique Louis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Derek Arias having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Enrique Louis took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Derek Arias to make any attempt to save it. If Austin Stewart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the match, Olathe Falcons's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Louis came free, but Derek Arias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Austin Stewart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Bailey Guy fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Seymour United's protests and gave Bailey Guy a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute, Bailey Guy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute of the match, Enrique Louis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Derek Arias saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Enrique Louis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Derek Arias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrique Louis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Brent Alfaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnoldo Morgan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rueben Roy having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After having played for 54 minutes, Austin Stewart managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Seymour United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Austin Stewart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 57th minute by Walter Mixon got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Rusty Fletcher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Rueben Roy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Olathe Falcons's goal looked a bit too open when Austin Stewart came free, but Derek Arias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bailey Guy was shown his second yellow card after 67 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Olathe Falcons booed when Seymour United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bailey Guy didn't get a good kick on the ball.
