Jarvis Dobbs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Junior Ritchie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 played minutes Youngstown Penguins FC got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Franco. Geoffrey Wise kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Junior Ritchie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Holcomb, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. When Geoffrey Wise fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Youngstown Penguins FC's protests and gave Geoffrey Wise a yellow card for diving instead. After 22 played minutes Youngstown Penguins FC got a freekick which was hit by Geoffrey Wise. Youngstown Penguins FC's Junior Ritchie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Youngstown Penguins FC from getting a goal against them. Junior Ritchie didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 29th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Jarvis Dobbs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Center Line's supporters rose to their feet, but Jarvis Dobbs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Junior Ritchie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Martin Holcomb's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Junior Ritchie was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Martin Holcomb recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th minute, Geoffrey Wise hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Jarvis Dobbs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Junior Ritchie having to interfere. In the 58th minute Jarvis Dobbs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Junior Ritchie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59thth minute of the game Martin Holcomb who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Youngstown Penguins FC's Junior Ritchie was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Jarvis Dobbs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
