After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Bernie Humphrey managed to get in a good position for a shot. pirates's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernie Humphrey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gary Abrams breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. pirates's Warner Leach proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save pirates from getting a goal against them. In the 15th match minute, pirates was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jasper Justice to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asher Zamora in the 18th minute of play forced Coolidge's goalkeeper Gary Abrams to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Asher Zamora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gary Abrams having to interfere. If Albert Downs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Josh Luna charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Josh Luna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 25 minutes into the match, pirates's goal looked a bit too open when J.C. Eason came free, but Warner Leach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Albert Downs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andy Presley charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andy Presley the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in pirates fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Woodrow Gibson during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th minute, Woodrow Gibson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Asher Zamora made the kick off in the second half. Coolidge's Woodrow Gibson got his second yellow card of the match in the 53rd minute. The referee ordered Woodrow Gibson off the ground. Woodrow Gibson hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Ted Gipson kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, pirates's Aaron Arthur tried to score from far away in the 57th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to Coolidge getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Ted Gipson hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Terence Keller during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee gave Coolidge a penalty, 82 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Grant Ames, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of pirates's Warner Leach. 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in pirates's zone, Albert Downs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Warner Leach came out of the goal and Albert Downs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jasper Justice kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Coolidge's Grant Ames tried to score from far away in the 90th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. J.C. Eason sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Asher Zamora was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 99th minute. pirates's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.
