Fernando Lackey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Warner Leach made a huge save. A collision led to pirates getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. In the 26th minute, one of pirates:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for pirates. Warner Leach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louie Michaud in the 31st minute of play. Fernando Lackey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Warner Leach having to interfere. Bernie Humphrey struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Sam Orr didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for pirates. In the 41st minute, Theo Cerna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Concond United defense, Bernie Humphrey kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sam Orr. The Concond United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sam Orr should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Asher Zamora made a kick off. With a little luck, Concond United's Sam Orr got control of the ball when Bernie Humphrey tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fernando Lackey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Lackey in the 68th minute of play forced pirates's goalkeeper Warner Leach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sam Orr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asher Zamora in the 81st minute of play. In the 84th minute, Terence Keller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Warner Leach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Lackey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute Asher Zamora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sam Orr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sam Orr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asher Zamora in the 89th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, pirates's Asher Zamora sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sam Orr narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 93 minutes, Josh Luna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. pirates's supporters crossed their fingers, but Josh Luna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute Asher Zamora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sam Orr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. pirates had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
