Shane Galindo started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Pelham getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Stanley Bragg hit a great ball. Albert Downs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Scot Betts made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Albert Downs sent off a good shot on target. Albert Downs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Scot Betts made a huge save. If J.C. Eason had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Taylor Wilson sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Coolidge's Gary Abrams didn't even have to move. Shane Galindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gary Abrams having to interfere. Ted Gipson charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ted Gipson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th minute, Taylor Wilson sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Coolidge's Gary Abrams didn't even have to move. In the 33rd minute, Albert Downs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 34th minute by J.C. Eason got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 36th minute Shane Galindo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gary Abrams saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ted Gipson got his second yellow card in the match during the 37th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 38th match minute, Coolidge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ted Gipson to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Pelham booed when Coolidge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. J.C. Eason didn't get a good kick on the ball. J.C. Eason's late challenge caught a Pelham's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. J.C. Eason helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd minute, J.C. Eason hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 43 played minutes, Pelham's Taylor Wilson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gary Abrams came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pelham reached it. In the 49th minute of the match Marc Buckner shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gary Abrams showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Albert Downs made the kick off in the second half. Gary Abrams took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shane Galindo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Shane Galindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gary Abrams having to interfere. Gary Abrams showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shane Galindo, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 64 played minutes Coolidge got a freekick which was hit by J.C. Eason. In the 65th minute Shane Galindo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gary Abrams saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albert Downs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Scot Betts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 73rd minute by Lincoln Cross got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 74th minute, Neil Shelton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Shane Galindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gary Abrams having to interfere. If Shane Galindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Albert Downs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 96th match minute, Pelham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denny Zapata to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Pelham eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
