Spectators: 6505 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 5) Long Beach Sharks FC's Hank Cavazos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Lucas Temple fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Moon Shine's protests and gave Lucas Temple a yellow card for diving instead. Hank Cavazos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miles Walker having to interfere. Archie Vance could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Miles Walker made a huge save. Archie Vance received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Miles Walker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Long Beach Sharks FC's Hank Cavazos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Mel Payne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Junior Lucero in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th match minute, Moon Shine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Percy Pack to maneuver through the defense. Miles Walker was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Luke Caldwell. In the 29th minute Hank Cavazos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miles Walker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caleb Lowry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Miles Walker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Archie Vance had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucas Temple got his second yellow card in the match during the 33rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Moon Shine getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Lucas Temple hit a great ball. Hank Cavazos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th match minute, Moon Shine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brad Adair to maneuver through the defense. Moon Shine's Miles Walker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hank Cavazos in the 38th minute of play. When Long Beach Sharks FC's Hank Cavazos in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Moon Shine's goalie prevented a goal. Moon Shine's Miles Walker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hank Cavazos in the 44th minute of play. Moon Shine's Miles Walker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Moon Shine from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Darrel Proctor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Long Beach Sharks FC's Hank Cavazos got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 53rdth minute of the game Archie Vance who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Moon Shine's Miles Walker was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Hank Cavazos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Archie Vance sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hank Cavazos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miles Walker having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Hank Cavazos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Archie Vance's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miles Walker was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Darrel Proctor got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 68th match minute, Long Beach Sharks FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luke Caldwell to maneuver through the defense. Antonio Randolph shot from long distance in the 69th minute, but Mel Payne was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Kip Whitt kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Darrel Proctor got free with Mel Payne in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Long Beach Sharks FC fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Long Beach Sharks FC's Hank Cavazos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 85th minute, Hank Cavazos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Archie Vance notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Moon Shine's Miles Walker. Miles Walker was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luke Caldwell's late challenge caught a Moon Shine's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luke Caldwell helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Long Beach Sharks FC's Luke Caldwell got a free kick in the 91st minute. Moon Shine's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 93rd minute of the game, when Elliott Whitten after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Long Beach Sharks FC's goal. Elliott Whitten was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. A collision led to Moon Shine getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Antonio Randolph hit a great ball. Miles Walker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hank Cavazos, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Long Beach Sharks FC had played much better football throughout.
