Spectators: 5013 (Terracing: 4001, Seating: 1012, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cristobal Larkin kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Pelham getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Denny Zapata hit a great ball. In the 6th match minute, Pelham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denny Zapata to maneuver through the defense. In the game's 7th minute Wadena FC's Shaun Silver took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Scot Betts and thus the score was 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Shane Galindo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Palmer Belanger. That made the score 1-1 in the 12 minute of play. If Shane Galindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shane Galindo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Palmer Belanger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. When Marc Buckner fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pelham's protests and gave Marc Buckner a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Pelham getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Marc Buckner hit a great ball. Scot Betts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olin Pruitt in the 27th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Wadena FC's goalkeeper Palmer Belanger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lincoln Cross. In the 36th minute Shane Galindo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Palmer Belanger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pelham's Stanley Bragg got a free kick in the 37th minute. When Shane Galindo came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Pelham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shane Galindo couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Shane Galindo to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Cristobal Larkin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Scot Betts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pelham's Shane Galindo got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lincoln Cross received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Palmer Belanger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donald Rodgers hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After having played for 68 minutes, Lincoln Cross managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pelham's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lincoln Cross was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Taylor Wilson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 71st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 78 minutes into the game, Wadena FC's Olin Pruitt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Scot Betts made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Cristobal Larkin struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Scot Betts didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wadena FC. Olin Pruitt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Scot Betts having to interfere. Cristobal Larkin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Scot Betts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Pelham's Scot Betts got control of the ball when Olin Pruitt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Palmer Belanger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shane Galindo, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Mark Beard's late challenge caught a Pelham's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mark Beard helped the player get up and apologised. Mark Beard kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
