Spectators: 6872 (Terracing: 5100, Seating: 1767, VIP seats: 5) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when J.C. Eason got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Coolidge's goalkeeper Gary Abrams, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 4th minute Junior Lucero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gary Abrams saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute, Albert Downs made a precise shot to the right of Miles Walker. Moon Shine's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Junior Lucero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gary Abrams having to make a save. Darrel Proctor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Gary Abrams made a huge save. The audience was convinced that J.C. Eason's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miles Walker was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Albert Downs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Miles Walker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Darrel Proctor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Albert Downs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coolidge's supporters rose to their feet, but Albert Downs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miles Walker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 36th match minute, Moon Shine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Temple to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albert Downs in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miles Walker saved Moon Shine from getting behind. Coolidge's Gary Abrams proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Coolidge from getting a goal against them. Darrel Proctor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gary Abrams read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. If Darrel Proctor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Junior Lucero made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Darrel Proctor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moon Shine's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darrel Proctor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Coolidge's goal looked a bit too open when Darrel Proctor came free, but Gary Abrams reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Coolidge booed when Moon Shine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Junior Lucero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Junior Lucero's late challenge caught a Coolidge's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Junior Lucero helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th match minute, Moon Shine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Junior Lucero to maneuver through the defense. Junior Lucero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 71 minutes into the game, Junior Lucero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Gary Abrams was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 79th minute Lucas Temple suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. 79 minutes into the game, Woodrow Gibson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coolidge's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Moon Shine the free kick. In the 80th minute, Woodrow Gibson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gary Abrams came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Moon Shine's Darrel Proctor. But to his dismay, Darrel Proctor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Gary Abrams showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darrel Proctor in the 89th minute of the match. Albert Downs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Miles Walker made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 98 minutes, Miles Walker successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Coolidge eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
