The referee ignored St. Peter FC's protests and gave Edward Wilkerson a yellow card for diving instead. Lane Fernandez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Billy Dukes in the 5th minute. Lane Fernandez made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Billy Dukes sent off a good shot on target. Rene Fountain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Allen Graham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. J.P. Otto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Fountain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Odenton's Lane Fernandez got control of the ball when Billy Dukes tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17th minute Rene Fountain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but J.P. Otto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Riley Martin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Willis Myers's late challenge caught a St. Peter FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Willis Myers helped the player get up and apologised. Willis Myers kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 25thth minute of the game Edward Wilkerson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Odenton's Lane Fernandez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 26th minute Allen Graham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but J.P. Otto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Billy Dukes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Lane Fernandez made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Riley Martin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lane Fernandez was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Lane Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Riley Martin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Riley Martin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lane Fernandez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Riley Martin was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Billy Dukes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. St. Peter FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Billy Dukes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Riley Martin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lane Fernandez having to make a save. Lane Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Riley Martin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Riley Martin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Lane Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Riley Martin in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lane Fernandez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Riley Martin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Odenton's Bobby Ortiz got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 82nd match minute, St. Peter FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Riley Martin to maneuver through the defense. Riley Martin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Billy Dukes in the 88th minute of play forced Odenton's goalkeeper Lane Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Riley Martin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Allen Graham managed to get in a good position for a shot. Odenton's supporters rose to their feet, but Allen Graham was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. J.P. Otto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Billy Dukes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
