The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Independent Outdoor Union. J.P. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Riley Martin made a kick off. In the 58th minute Riley Martin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacio Metz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Billy Dukes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignacio Metz having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Riley Martin in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ignacio Metz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Billy Dukes in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ignacio Metz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Erik Henley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, Independent Outdoor Union's goal looked a bit too open when Riley Martin came free, but Ignacio Metz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Otto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Riley Martin struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. When the match was over St. Peter FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Independent Outdoor Union throughout the match.
