In the 7th match minute, Platteville AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Douglas Weldon to maneuver through the defense. If Alonso Peoples had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wilson McClellan kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Douglas Weldon got free with Stevie Minton in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alonso Peoples's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stevie Minton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ward Whaley in the 30th minute of play forced Platteville AFC's goalkeeper Chance Ventura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jamar Webster fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Platteville AFC's protests and gave Jamar Webster a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Platteville AFC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Jamar Webster hit a great ball. Platteville AFC's Douglas Weldon got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stevie Minton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jamar Webster, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Orland AFC's Stevie Minton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonso Peoples in the 40th minute of play. After 42 played minutes, Orland AFC's Rico Bingham shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Chance Ventura came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Orland AFC reached it. Orland AFC's Stevie Minton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brett Todd in the 44th minute of play. If Alonso Peoples had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Douglas Weldon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Stevie Minton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alonso Peoples stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alonso Peoples sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chance Ventura was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Ward Whaley capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ward Whaley really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Leo Lilly spun around in front of the goal 61 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Platteville AFC's goal. If Douglas Weldon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Orland AFC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Heriberto Daniel hit a great ball. When Brett Todd came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Platteville AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brett Todd couldn't finish the play. Alonso Peoples sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orland AFC's Stevie Minton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonso Peoples in the 77th minute of play. Chance Ventura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ward Whaley, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Douglas Weldon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stevie Minton having to interfere. Alonso Peoples received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Stevie Minton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Douglas Weldon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 91 played minutes Platteville AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jamar Webster. In the 92nd minute of the match Malcolm Hills shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Chance Ventura showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Leo Lilly came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Orland AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Lilly couldn't finish the play.
