The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Billy Dukes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute, Billy Dukes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When St. Peter FC's Billy Dukes in 74 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Harvey Brown guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Billy Dukes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The St. Peter FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After having played for 95 minutes, Billy Dukes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. St. Peter FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Billy Dukes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that St. Peter FC were the better team. St. Peter FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
