In the 19th minute Carlo Braswell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bradly Hawthorne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute Oliver Tolbert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flint Wills saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlo Braswell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Bradly Hawthorne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bradly Hawthorne was a little too slow when Carlo Braswell got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 48th minute. The score was now 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Flint Wills made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliver Tolbert in the 54th minute of play. After having played for 57 minutes, Oliver Tolbert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Missouri City AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oliver Tolbert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Missouri City AFC's goalkeeper Bradly Hawthorne, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Oliver Tolbert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 minutes, Van Spencer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juve 17 and the Missouri City AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Van Spencer hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. When Oliver Tolbert came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Missouri City AFC fans jumped to their feet. Missouri City AFC's Bradly Hawthorne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Braswell in the 87th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Juve 17's zone, Oliver Tolbert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flint Wills came out of the goal and Oliver Tolbert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juve 17's Flint Wills proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Juve 17 from getting a goal against them. Stuart Laird fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flint Wills having to interfere. Missouri City AFC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Juve 17 had won, even though Missouri City AFC had held more of the ball.
