Spectators: 7693 (Terracing: 5773, Seating: 1770, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hayden Cavazos took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in IRON BOYS's zone, Monte Henderson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente Ayala came out of the goal and Monte Henderson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lionel Goodwin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hayden Cavazos in the 12th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Scotty Powell cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Vicente Ayala was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vicente Ayala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Scotty Powell in the 21st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Monte Henderson in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vicente Ayala saved IRON BOYS from getting behind. When Stallions FC's Scotty Powell in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye IRON BOYS's goalie prevented a goal. Monte Henderson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the game, Josh Langley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stallions FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave IRON BOYS the free kick. In the 30th minute, Josh Langley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Monte Henderson took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vicente Ayala. Vicente Ayala dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Monte Henderson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Vicente Ayala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fletcher Hahn during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fletcher Hahn kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Lionel Goodwin came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by IRON BOYS's Hayden Cavazos. But to his dismay, Hayden Cavazos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. If Hayden Cavazos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Scotty Powell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 62nd minute, Monte Hayes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stallions FC's Monte Henderson got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Monte Hayes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lionel Goodwin having to interfere. IRON BOYS's Hayden Cavazos got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th match minute, Stallions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josh Langley to maneuver through the defense. Monte Hayes struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Lionel Goodwin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IRON BOYS. Scotty Powell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Ayala having to interfere. IRON BOYS's Fletcher Hahn got his second yellow card of the match in the 92nd minute. The referee ordered Fletcher Hahn off the ground. In the 93rd match minute, IRON BOYS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fletcher Hahn to maneuver through the defense. Stallions FC's Dirk English shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 96th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Vicente Ayala but with some difficulty.
