Spectators: 7277 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jospeh Thurston kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geraldo Hooks in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Johnson Peterson saved Goblin Ski Patrol from getting behind. Hunter Rollins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jospeh Thurston in the 5th minute of the match. Hunter Rollins made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francis Sherrill in the 8th minute. If Francis Sherrill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vito Barnard in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Johnson Peterson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th minute, Art Urmanski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute, Ervin Bolton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francis Sherrill could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Hunter Rollins made a huge save. 26 minutes into the match, Felipe McElroy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Johnson Peterson. Goblin Ski Patrol's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felipe McElroy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ervin Bolton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geraldo Hooks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnson Peterson having to interfere.

The wind increased when Geraldo Hooks made the kick off in the second half. Odell McConnell kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Carmel Valley Village AFC's Ross Minton got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, Goblin Ski Patrol's goal looked a bit too open when Geraldo Hooks came free, but Johnson Peterson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66thth minute of the game Geraldo Hooks who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Goblin Ski Patrol's Johnson Peterson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 70th minute, Art Urmanski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ross Minton was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 71st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Vito Barnard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Johnson Peterson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jospeh Thurston struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Hunter Rollins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goblin Ski Patrol. After having played for 84 minutes, Francis Sherrill managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Goblin Ski Patrol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francis Sherrill was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th minute, Jospeh Thurston left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Goblin Ski Patrol fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Felipe McElroy hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Odell McConnell, 98 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
