Spectators: 7275 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leo Toth started the match with the kick off. In the 5thth minute of the game Jospeh Thurston who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Proyecto 7's Bryon Le Van was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Club Proyecto 7's zone, Jospeh Thurston stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bryon Le Van came out of the goal and Jospeh Thurston tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Francis Sherrill came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Goblin Ski Patrol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francis Sherrill couldn't finish the play. In the 14th minute, Shaun Minor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the match, Jospeh Thurston dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bryon Le Van, 1-0. Club Proyecto 7's Jorge Tabor got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 24th minute, Dave Soto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bryon Le Van made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francis Sherrill in the 27th minute. Leo Toth might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Johnson Peterson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leo Toth ran back to his position shaking his head. Johnson Peterson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Tabor's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Johnson Peterson came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Proyecto 7's Leo Toth. But to his dismay, Leo Toth quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Francis Sherrill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Bryon Le Van tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Goblin Ski Patrol's zone, Leo Toth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johnson Peterson came out of the goal and Leo Toth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Club Proyecto 7 booed when Goblin Ski Patrol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jospeh Thurston didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Shaun Minor was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 48th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francis Sherrill in the 53rd minute of play forced Club Proyecto 7's goalkeeper Bryon Le Van to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bryon Le Van stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jospeh Thurston's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Jospeh Thurston sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dave Soto charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dave Soto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 57 played minutes Club Proyecto 7 got a freekick which was hit by Dave Soto. The supporters of Goblin Ski Patrol booed when Club Proyecto 7 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dave Soto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Shaun Minor hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Ben Potts hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Edmundo Estes hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Francis Sherrill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bryon Le Van took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francis Sherrill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Edmundo Estes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Club Proyecto 7 players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Goblin Ski Patrol from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
