Spectators: 7520 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1767, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Matt Guy started the match with the kick off. When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Geraldo Hooks sped through Sharpsburg's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Brendon Kirkpatrick. In the 6th minute, Ervin Bolton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Sharpsburg's zone, Geraldo Hooks stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brendon Kirkpatrick came out of the goal and Geraldo Hooks tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hunter Rollins made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Emmitt Stapleton sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matt Guy in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hunter Rollins prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Renaldo Mora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brendon Kirkpatrick stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geraldo Hooks's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Brendon Kirkpatrick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geraldo Hooks in the 37th minute of play. After some careless play in the Sharpsburg defense, Vito Barnard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brendon Kirkpatrick. The Sharpsburg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brendon Kirkpatrick should have stopped the shot. 46 minutes into the match, Matt Guy dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hunter Rollins, 1-2. The Sharpsburg players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Carmel Valley Village AFC were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Geraldo Hooks was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Vito Barnard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carmel Valley Village AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vito Barnard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emmitt Stapleton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matt Guy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Emmitt Stapleton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sharpsburg's supporters rose to their feet, but Emmitt Stapleton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hunter Rollins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 74 minutes into the match, Carmel Valley Village AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Matt Guy came free, but Hunter Rollins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Emmitt Stapleton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rod Villanueva hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Geraldo Hooks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Brendon Kirkpatrick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brendon Kirkpatrick didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vito Barnard went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Sharpsburg's Moises Bonds got a free kick in the 84th minute. Matt Guy struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Hunter Rollins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sharpsburg. Matt Guy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Hunter Rollins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matt Guy scored 2-3 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hunter Rollins, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
