King Patterson started the match with the kick off. In the 13th minute Scotty Powell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dustin Tipton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Monte Henderson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dustin Tipton having to interfere. When Scotty Powell came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Stallions FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Scotty Powell couldn't finish the play. After 20 played minutes Ahamdullilah got a freekick which was hit by Darryl Ellison. In the 21st minute Scotty Powell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dustin Tipton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monte Henderson in the 25th minute of play forced Ahamdullilah's goalkeeper Dustin Tipton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Brant Jefferson came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Ahamdullilah fans jumped to their feet. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Scotty Powell to strike the kick off in the second half. Brant Jefferson might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lionel Goodwin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brant Jefferson ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee felt a red card was in order, 59 minutes into the game, when Rudolf Sutherland put in a rough tackle. In the 59th minute, one of Ahamdullilah:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ahamdullilah. In the 61st minute there was a penalty for Stallions FC. Dirk English stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dustin Tipton. 0-3. Brant Jefferson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Lionel Goodwin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Monte Henderson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Ahamdullilah supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Stallions FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Stallions FC.
