Spectators: 5100 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jospeh Thurston kicked off to start the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marvin Estrada during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 6th match minute, Goblin Ski Patrol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marvin Estrada to maneuver through the defense. Edmundo Estes hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. William Houston made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jospeh Thurston in the 9th minute of play. Francis Sherrill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. William Houston tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. William Houston showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francis Sherrill in the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Jospeh Thurston got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Francis Sherrill's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but William Houston was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. William Houston made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francis Sherrill in the 26th minute of play. William Houston didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jospeh Thurston went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 34th minute Jospeh Thurston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Houston saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Goblin Ski Patrol's Odell McConnell was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but William Houston in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ferrocarril's Owen Echols got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, Ferrocarril's goal looked a bit too open when Jospeh Thurston came free, but William Houston reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Louis Ellison kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half Goblin Ski Patrol were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kevin Atwood stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 65 minutes, Louis Ellison managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ferrocarril's supporters crossed their fingers, but Louis Ellison was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ferrocarril's Kevin Atwood quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Marvin Estrada, made in the 67th minute of the game. Francis Sherrill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Jospeh Thurston fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Francis Sherrill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Houston having to interfere. 79 minutes into the game, Goblin Ski Patrol's Francis Sherrill nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. William Houston made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 83 played minutes Jospeh Thurston rounded Ferrocarril's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. 86 minutes into the match, Ferrocarril's Owen Echols sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Johnson Peterson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Ferrocarril's William Houston got control of the ball when Francis Sherrill tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Francis Sherrill came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Goblin Ski Patrol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francis Sherrill couldn't finish the play.
