Spectators: 7281 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Darin Cahill started the match with the kick off. Darin Cahill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnson Peterson having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Darin Cahill ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Johnson Peterson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Johnson Peterson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darin Cahill, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After 15 minutes of play, Drumright AFC's Jordan Rivas made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Johnson Peterson was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Jordan Rivas in the 19th minute of play forced Goblin Ski Patrol's goalkeeper Johnson Peterson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Drumright AFC booed when Goblin Ski Patrol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Art Urmanski didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Darin Cahill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Darin Cahill recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Drumright AFC fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Drumright AFC's Darin Cahill looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Johnson Peterson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darin Cahill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kenneth Whalen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnson Peterson having to interfere. Darin Cahill scored 0-4 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Johnson Peterson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Darin Cahill's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Johnson Peterson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. In the 44th match minute, Goblin Ski Patrol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Holbrook to maneuver through the defense. Johnson Peterson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darin Cahill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jospeh Thurston stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Odell McConnell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Darin Cahill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jordan Rivas might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Johnson Peterson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jordan Rivas ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 63 minutes, Darin Cahill managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Drumright AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darin Cahill was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Drumright AFC's Marty Moreno got a free kick in the 65th minute. Darin Cahill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jordan Rivas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Jordan Rivas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Johnson Peterson. Goblin Ski Patrol's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jordan Rivas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Darin Cahill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnson Peterson having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Darin Cahill reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Johnson Peterson. The goal made the score 0-6. In the 91st match minute, Goblin Ski Patrol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Art Urmanski to maneuver through the defense. Johnson Peterson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Marty Moreno. Drumright AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
