The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the match, Ahamdullilah's goal looked a bit too open when Hayden Cavazos came free, but Dustin Tipton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. IRON BOYS's Vicente Ayala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by King Patterson in the 27th minute of play. IRON BOYS's Hayden Cavazos got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by IRON BOYS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rey Kearney was slow to take the kick. During this time Ahamdullilah's players had a chance to rest. 35 minutes into the match, IRON BOYS's goal looked a bit too open when Brant Jefferson came free, but Vicente Ayala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vicente Ayala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from King Patterson in the 37th minute of the match. Fletcher Hahn kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brant Jefferson in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vicente Ayala saved IRON BOYS from getting behind. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. King Patterson was the one to do the kick off. Brant Jefferson struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Vicente Ayala didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ahamdullilah. In a very dangerous position, a player in IRON BOYS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Vicente Ayala, was totally fooled by Ahamdullilah's Rey Kearney, who 59 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. King Patterson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Vicente Ayala made a huge save. Wallace Boles kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Dustin Tipton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monte Hayes in the 70th minute of play. A collision led to IRON BOYS getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Chuck Orozco hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the match, IRON BOYS's goal looked a bit too open when King Patterson came free, but Vicente Ayala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ahamdullilah's goalkeeper Dustin Tipton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 87th match minute, Ahamdullilah was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emery Brandt to maneuver through the defense. Dustin Tipton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hayden Cavazos, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 94th play minute Brant Jefferson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Vicente Ayala. 1-2. Ahamdullilah's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
