Ronny Stiles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Lincoln Brock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Finley in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lincoln Brock prevented the ball from getting in the gole. David Finley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronny Stiles might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lincoln Brock. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ronny Stiles ran back to his position shaking his head. Claude Simmons kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Lincoln Brock stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Finley's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Ronny Stiles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lincoln Brock having to interfere. In the 46th minute, David Finley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

After a defensive mix-up in Creativity's zone, Jeramy Grady stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lincoln Brock came out of the goal and Jeramy Grady tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 72 minutes into the match, David Finley had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lincoln Brock. Creativity's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Finley was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. 77 minutes into the match, River Bend FC's goal looked a bit too open when Claude Simmons came free, but Neil Pierson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Scot DeJesus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If David Finley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Abraham Waldron came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the River Bend FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abraham Waldron couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd minute, River Bend FC's Scot DeJesus ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lincoln Brock. Lincoln Brock yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. River Bend FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
