The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Rodger Woodruff managed to get in a good position for a shot. USA Thunder's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodger Woodruff was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damon Flint breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 5th minute, Christopher Joiner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes into the match, USA Thunder's goal looked a bit too open when Boyd Nicholson came free, but Ronald Barrow reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 10th minute by Denny Jeffries got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christopher Joiner in the 13th minute of play forced Aztecs Premire's goalkeeper Damon Flint to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Aztecs Premire's Boyd Nicholson got a free kick in the 15th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Aztecs Premire's zone, Rodger Woodruff stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damon Flint came out of the goal and Rodger Woodruff tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 24 minutes into the match, Denny Jeffries had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ronald Barrow. USA Thunder's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Denny Jeffries was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Denny Jeffries recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. USA Thunder's Ronald Barrow played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boyd Nicholson in the 32nd minute of play. Rodger Woodruff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damon Flint having to interfere. In the 37th minute Aztecs Premire were awarded a corner. Tyrese Grayson went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Tyrese Grayson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ronald Barrow quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christopher Joiner to strike the kick off in the second half. USA Thunder's Ronald Barrow played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denny Jeffries in the 52nd minute of play. After 52 minutes, Wyatt Jimenez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the USA Thunder and the Aztecs Premire players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 52nd minute, Wyatt Jimenez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boyd Nicholson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind USA Thunder's goalkeeper Ronald Barrow, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Damon Flint took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christopher Joiner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to USA Thunder getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Conrad Harris hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christopher Joiner in the 68th minute of play forced Aztecs Premire's goalkeeper Damon Flint to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christopher Joiner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Damon Flint tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Boyd Nicholson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damon Flint made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodger Woodruff in the 74th minute. An unexpected shot in the 75th minute by Rodger Woodruff got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 83 minutes into the match, Aztecs Premire's goal looked a bit too open when Christopher Joiner came free, but Damon Flint reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boyd Nicholson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronald Barrow having to interfere. Ronald Barrow took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denny Jeffries, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
