Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Myles Pacheco to make the kick off. Drew Sullivan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Charles Huffman's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Charles Huffman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Drew Sullivan having to interfere. Flushing's Ali Thome got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Charles Huffman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Flushing's Charles Huffman in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ♣ÅrancioneÉxercitus♣ ¥ φ's goalie prevented a goal. In the 88th minute, Scottie Messer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brock Mohr was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2.
