Mount Vernon AFC's Odell Carrier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neal Stark in the 10th minute of play. Dallas Swartz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Donnie Faulk skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 30 minutes into the match, Neal Stark had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Odell Carrier. Mount Vernon AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Neal Stark was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Jeff Britton took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Donnie Faulk to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of turkısh team booed when Mount Vernon AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kareem Herman didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Neal Stark made the kick off in the second half. Neal Stark received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Odell Carrier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, turkısh team's Gavin Ryder got a free kick in the 59th minute. Neal Stark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Odell Carrier having to interfere. In the 68th minute Neal Stark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Odell Carrier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Neal Stark came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the turkısh team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Neal Stark couldn't finish the play. Odell Carrier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Neal Stark, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Donnie Faulk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dallas Swartz in the 81st minute of the match. turkısh team's Neal Stark got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Domenic Gipson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Odell Carrier. Mount Vernon AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Domenic Gipson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Mount Vernon AFC were victorious despite being under pressure from turkısh team for much of the match.
