Charles Huffman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ezra LoDuca having to make a save. In the 14th minute, Charles Huffman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Charles Huffman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ezra LoDuca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Huffman in the 19th minute of play. If Alfonzo Wilkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charles Huffman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ezra LoDuca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles Huffman, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Ezra LoDuca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ali Thome went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Alfonzo Wilkins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Brock Mohr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Charles Huffman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Flushing were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfonzo Wilkins to make the kick off. Ali Thome scored 0-2 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ezra LoDuca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ali Thome's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Ezra LoDuca skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Ali Thome had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 68 played minutes ZKS Stal Stalowa Wola got a freekick which was hit by Greg Beltran. After having played for 78 minutes, Charles Huffman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flushing's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charles Huffman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ezra LoDuca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Charles Huffman's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Charles Huffman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezra LoDuca having to interfere. If Ali Thome had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Charles Huffman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ezra LoDuca. That made the score 0-3 in the 88 minute of play. Ezra LoDuca was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Charles Huffman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Charles Huffman really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4.
