The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Justin Keane came out of the goal in the 2nd minute to try and stop a shot by Apathy FC's Ezra Orlinsky. But to his dismay, Ezra Orlinsky quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 7 minutes into the match, Apathy FC's goal looked a bit too open when John Fuentes came free, but Elvis Cain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ezra Orlinsky received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Justin Keane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 10 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Apathy FC! The referee gave Manvel Argentina Soccer a penalty, 11 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Vernon Jacob, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Apathy FC's Elvis Cain. 1-1. John Fuentes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elvis Cain having to interfere. When Robin Robles fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Apathy FC's protests and gave Robin Robles a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 played minutes Apathy FC got a freekick which was hit by Robin Robles. Berry Russo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Miguel Bravo's late challenge caught a Apathy FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miguel Bravo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th minute, Norberto Abrams left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Apathy FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Justin Keane made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Ezra Orlinsky sent off a good shot on target. 43 minutes into the game, Manvel Argentina Soccer's John Fuentes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elvis Cain made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Norberto Abrams charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Norberto Abrams the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Norberto Abrams kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Elvis Cain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Fuentes, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Al Staton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Murray Gibson hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Manvel Argentina Soccer defense, Al Staton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Justin Keane. The Manvel Argentina Soccer fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Justin Keane should have stopped the shot. Berry Russo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Berry Russo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Elvis Cain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 62 played minutes Apathy FC got a freekick which was hit by Dwight Cooper. Berry Russo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 69 minutes into the match, John Fuentes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elvis Cain. Apathy FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that John Fuentes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Al Staton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justin Keane having to interfere. If Ezra Orlinsky had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elvis Cain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berry Russo in the 93rd minute of the match.
