The audience thought a goal was coming when Leroy Cermak got free with Ty Potts in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iselin AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Xavier McCullough was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The referee ignored Podhale FC's protests and gave Geraldo Wilcox a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Podhale FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Ace Lowe hit a great ball. When Xavier McCullough came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Iselin AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xavier McCullough couldn't finish the play.
