Manvel Argentina Soccer's supporters crossed their fingers, but John Fuentes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and John Fuentes made a kick off. Murray Gibson's late challenge caught a Spartak NY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Spartak NY's supporters rose to their feet, but Matthew Rose was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Justin Keane breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tyson Stahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Justin Keane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
