After having played for 12 minutes, Willie Knapp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arslanian FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Willie Knapp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14thth minute of the game Francesco Hyde who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arslanian FC's Lucero Antoine was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Arslanian FC's Jed Vera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dirk Mitchell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lucero Antoine stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francesco Hyde's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Ralph Maher made in the 27th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Zack Hansen immediately put the ball in play. In the 32nd minute, Weston Oberle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francesco Hyde kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Zack Hansen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arslanian FC's Thurman Turner got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Francesco Hyde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucero Antoine having to interfere.

Willie Knapp might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dirk Mitchell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Willie Knapp ran back to his position shaking his head. 56 minutes into the match, Arslanian FC's goal looked a bit too open when Francesco Hyde came free, but Lucero Antoine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zack Hansen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Arslanian FC's Ronny McRae got a free kick in the 60th minute. Arslanian FC's Lucero Antoine proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Arslanian FC from getting a goal against them. If Francesco Hyde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucero Antoine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francesco Hyde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Odell Cates's late challenge caught a Downriver's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Odell Cates helped the player get up and apologised. Odell Cates hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After 84 minutes, Ray Jacobsen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arslanian FC and the Downriver players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ray Jacobsen kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Francesco Hyde recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arslanian FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Downriver had controlled the match.
