The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Andrew Goode didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Willie Knapp went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 8 minutes into the match, Willie Knapp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andrew Goode. West Side Highway's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Willie Knapp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 13th minute Willie Knapp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrew Goode saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronny McRae struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Andrew Goode didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arslanian FC. Ronny McRae took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andrew Goode. Andrew Goode dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. A collision led to West Side Highway getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Weston French hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the game, Willie Knapp cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Andrew Goode was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andrew Goode showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronny McRae, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Ronny McRae received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Andrew Goode tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to West Side Highway getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Omar Dupre hit a great ball. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind West Side Highway's goalkeeper Andrew Goode, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thurman Turner made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Arslanian FC's Ronny McRae fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Andrew Goode was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. Leo Kuhn made in the 57th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Arslanian FC's Odell Cates. The audience thought a goal was coming when Willie Knapp got free with Andrew Goode in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 59th minute, Willie Knapp ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andrew Goode was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. After a defensive mix-up in West Side Highway's zone, Thurman Turner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrew Goode came out of the goal and Thurman Turner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the West Side Highway defense, Willie Knapp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andrew Goode. The West Side Highway fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andrew Goode should have stopped the shot. Willie Knapp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Andrew Goode tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucero Antoine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Weston French, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sonny Saucedo made in the 80th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Thurman Turner. Thurman Turner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrew Goode having to interfere.
