Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tyron Key in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tom Andersen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mohammed Petersen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Houston Bravo in the 14th minute of play. Tom Andersen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bret Varner in the 17th minute of the match. A collision led to I 69 I getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Omar Connell hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute Bret Varner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Andersen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Miami Heat FC booed when I 69 I was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abe Frazier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Omar Connell charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The wind increased when Bret Varner made the kick off in the second half. I 69 I's Alvin Gagne got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Omar Connell was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 55 minutes had been played. When the match was over Miami Heat FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than I 69 I throughout the match.
