Spectators: 7302 (Terracing: 5802, Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 100) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Joey Stratton made the kick off which started today's match. Luis Hughes might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tom Andersen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luis Hughes ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 8 minutes, Joey Stratton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lake Odessa AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joey Stratton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in I 69 I fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! In the 14th minute there was a penalty for Lake Odessa AFC. Jaime Ingram stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tom Andersen. 0-1. Alvin Gagne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Brendon Bragg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alvin Gagne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Brendon Bragg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. I 69 I's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Reginald Kurtz in the 23rd minute. The corner ended in Reginald Kurtz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lake Odessa AFC's Brendon Bragg did a great save. Houston Bravo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Brendon Bragg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brendon Bragg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvin Gagne in the 29th minute of the match. When Houston Bravo came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the I 69 I fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Houston Bravo couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute of the match Reginald Kurtz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brendon Bragg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tom Andersen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Hughes in the 41st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in I 69 I's zone, Luis Hughes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tom Andersen came out of the goal and Luis Hughes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute, Walker Hernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 49th minute I 69 I were awarded a corner. Reginald Kurtz went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Omar Connell managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The I 69 I players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lake Odessa AFC were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Houston Bravo was the one to do the kick off. I 69 I's Alvin Gagne got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of I 69 I booed when Lake Odessa AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Hughes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Walker Hernandez hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Houston Bravo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brendon Bragg having to make a save. In the 66th minute, Alvin Gagne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 74th minute Alvin Gagne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brendon Bragg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvin Gagne took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brendon Bragg. Brendon Bragg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Alvin Gagne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute, Houston Bravo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of I 69 I booed when Lake Odessa AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joey Stratton didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind I 69 I's goalkeeper Tom Andersen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lake Odessa AFC's Brendon Bragg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Houston Bravo in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lake Odessa AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
