Spectators: 7421 (Terracing: 5768, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 153) The audience thought a goal was coming when Tyron Key got free with Reynaldo Faulkner in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 11 minutes into the match, Gotham City FC's goalkeeper Reynaldo Faulkner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerry Mohr. J.P. Wong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Mohammed Petersen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alonso Ivy hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute, Tyron Key got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot by Alonso Ivy from long distance, 26 minutes into the match, got Reynaldo Faulkner's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 28th match minute, Miami Heat FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brady Looney to maneuver through the defense. Mohammed Petersen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sam Ponce in the 30th minute of play. Mohammed Petersen came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Gotham City FC's J.P. Wong. But to his dismay, J.P. Wong quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Miami Heat FC booed when Gotham City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sam Ponce didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th match minute, Gotham City FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caleb Gray to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Gotham City FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Alonso Ivy hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Reynaldo Faulkner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tyron Key in the 59th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Gotham City FC's Sam Ponce sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mohammed Petersen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee felt a red card was in order, 65 minutes into the game, when Alonso Ivy put in a rough tackle. In the 65th minute, one of Miami Heat FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Miami Heat FC. In the 71st match minute, Gotham City FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kirk Fitzpatrick to maneuver through the defense. The Miami Heat FC fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Miami Heat FC's Tyron Key looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mohammed Petersen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sam Ponce went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. J.P. Wong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohammed Petersen having to interfere. After having played for 84 minutes, Sam Ponce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gotham City FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sam Ponce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mohammed Petersen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sam Ponce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sam Ponce came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Gotham City FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sam Ponce couldn't finish the play. Tyron Key fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Faulkner having to interfere. 95 minutes into the game, Sam Ponce was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gotham City FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Miami Heat FC the free kick. A collision led to Gotham City FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Sam Ponce hit a great ball. 96 minutes into the match, Tyron Key had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reynaldo Faulkner. Gotham City FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tyron Key was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. The Miami Heat FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gotham City FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
